5th Gen Exhaust on 4th Gen

Does anyone know if the factory exhaust on a 5th gen will bolt up to a 4th gen? Both V6s.

The OE part numbers are different, but aftermarket exhaust kits always claim 04-20 fitment. I could get up under there and check out hanger locations and such, but the internet is all knowing.

Reason I ask is that I have a 5th gen and 4th gen. The 4th gen needs a new exhaust, but I'd rather a nice, new, stainless exhaust go on the 5th gen and swap its exhaust to the 4th gen.

maybe 4.0, but not a v8

I recently installed Gibson catback, it was labeled to fit 03-20. Has 2 different center sections depending on engine/generation maybe. If it's cheap enough I'd give it a shot, a good muffler shop could always patch in a section. the axle back part should work fine though.

I've installed a 5th gen oem from the cat back to my 4th when I had a rusted muffler.

Had to bend the hanger just slightly but no big issues. I do think I have an exhaust leak but I believe that's on me.
