That's to bad those are beautiful wheels! Sad to see the issues with Toyota's narrow wheels continue, hopefully they'll smarten up soon! I'm sure somebody with 265's will scoop them up pretty quick especially at that price.I am thinking of selling my TRD forged aluminum wheels to move into 285s. I know many have 285s on a 7.5" wheel, but I would go to an 8". These are mint condition, especially all of the grey painted areas. I have a scuff on one of the outer steel rings, which I am sure could easily be replaced or buffed (the outer steel ring attaches separately with the included allen screws). These retail at $400 each + $200 for the lug kit. I will offer my set with the locking lug kit at $1190 + shipping to US locations. All original boxes and manual included. TPMS sensors not included. USPS money order preferred. Located in Colorado for anyone wanting a local pickup. No lowball offers or trades please.

Just a note - the last deal fell through - these are still available. Just PM me. Thanks.I swapped out for Trail wheels. Wheels are in great condition - 50k mi. - balanced great - wheel guy did a clean job unmounting old tires. only very light use scratches. Center caps and 24 original lug nuts included. PM me with offer. Would prefer pickup in Southwest VA but will drive a bit to meet you half way.
Soooo.... I just put my lift on. I have a factory Limited setup with only 1,100 miles on it. I'm in Maryland, but I can ship anywhere. I don't know whats fair, so please just PM me and we will work it out. Also I can take photos if anyone needs them.
Thanks
2010 TE roof rack/crossbars set.
$250. I'm in OC, CA.
Reduced price.
How about $150! Pick up in the OC.
The wheels are perfect with the 275s I have on them now. And a 285 will fit, even if not advised. For me it is a bit of a mental thing, if you are already pushing the width of the wheel, to air down to 15 or 20 pounds and hit heavy rocks might not be such a good idea.
Sorry for the sidetrack but what do you mean not advised? I'm no tire expert but in looking at the specs for Duratrac 285 70 17 they recommend 7.5 as the min. I was thinking of putting them on stock TE wheels.
Yes, 7.5" is the minimum so that is OK. But air down to 15 pounds on that minimum width and you have flattened the tread out even more. I would not be comfortable on the trails I do in that scenario. Just increases the chance of losing a bead.
If you don't air down that much or do rocky trails they would be OK.
