I don't know anything about your situation, but I would never let go of the one thing that make's me the happiest, or the proudest, or gives me the greatest sense of accomplishment, without offering something else up 1'st...whatever!

Have you spoken with "mngmt" or "corporate" about their offer yet; about the way that this will impact your household?

Being in the "Commercial" air conditioning industry, I've been in that same situation before: "...All tech/sales personnel will be assigned one company vehical..."! But before I would let anyone force me to sell my most precious posession, I might offer my office, an opportunity to utilize my personal vehical for work; asking them only for fuel and maintenance re-embursement, which they will have to pay anyway!

Now I don't know what field you're in (guessing sales or technical). So maybe you'll place alot more wear & tear on your 4Runner, but at least, it's still your truck!

I hope my 2 cents isn't offensive?!
