First world problems...
This is a *fantastic* rack. The fit, function, and build quality are first rate. However...it blocks SiriusXM Nav Traffic performance and degrades reception. As a frequent SF Bay Area commuter, this is something I can't live with. FWP indeed.

This rack in 1 month old, but I'm going on a road trip and to Overland Expo for the next two weeks. It will be available for local pick-up (and installation assistance) in the SF Bay Area on 23 May.

Wow...You went all out and have without a doubt one of the best racks out there. Tested and designed for/on some of the baddest vehicles on the planet. They have a wealth of aftermarket products and continue to shower the market with new designs and parts.......however....you're giving ALL of that up for better radio reception?!?!? :shocked:

Might I ask as to why the Eezi-awn racks are considered first class? Weight? Quality? I'm just inquiring as I am in the market but I had always thought Gobi/Baja racks were the gold standard. But I hold [MENTION=93894]J-BlickPhoto[/MENTION]'s opinions in high regard so here I am asking. Looks wise, I do prefer the Gobi though.

I'll try not to hijack this thread...however we are talking about an item for sale so....

In my opinion the Bajarack (I own the full length Flat rack) is what it is. There is no adjustability. It has fixed points and simply mounts to your vehicle and provides a (somewhat) stable base for your crap. I say "somewhat" because I have had to drill into my rack in several places as well as clamp external attachment points to secure gear. I also have some serious bowing towards the center where I have walked or mounted other items of significant weight. I also have a significant amount of rust peppered throughout the rack due to the chipping of the powder coat. It weighs in around 65-70lbs. Now that's only 5-10lbs heavier than the Eezi-awn, but the Eezi-awn has way more space to mount/carry gear.

The flat aluminum slotted racks like the Eezi-awn or the frontrunner racks are (in my opinion) king!

The K9 rack platform is 1-3/8" tall, making it one of the thinnest racks on the market

2 slots are designed into each platform slat to hold the head of an 8mm hex headed bolt, providing infinite mounting location options both laterally and front to back

Thule and Yakima Sport Bar Compatible

Each foot/leg able to tilt 20 degrees either direction from flat for arced roof lines
Mount platform as low as you want, or higher for mounting an under rack table
Application specific and universal track for gutterless roof systems
8mm mounting slots are spaced equally in slat and between them.

With the frontrunner you can add additional slots to make it a solid platform!

I will say that aesthetically, the FrontRunner/Eezi-awn look like a picnic table top, but for overall functionality, the ability to accessorize, and make personal adjustments without hacking or cutting....the choice is easy. :hello:

The powder coat has multiple scratches in it from, I guess, them hauling it to the event. It is brand new. I'm a new member here but I have lots of posts on 'MUD & several other Texas forums.

As you can see in the link, MSRP is $1,545 + tax w/a lead time of 3-5 weeks. I'm asking $1,000. Partial trades considered like ARB fridge, awnings, RTT and overland type stuff. Thanks!!!
