The Pro Gobi racks are super hard to come by... 6-8 weeks is standard and the used Gobi racks usually go for retail or close to due to the build time.

I know they only made like 50 of the Pro racks so it's gonna be tough to track down.
Yea I'm aware.. just curious if anyone has removed it and looking to sell. 1000 to 1200 seems to be about the resale on these used. Miss being in colorado to get one same say like i did on my jeep and xterra

What is a Pro rack? I was aware of the stealth and ranger models with the differances being the height of the top bar but never heard of the Pro rack, whats differant?

Hey fellas. I'm in the market for a used 5th gen TE and can't find one locally but have been trolling here, carguru, and some other sites. I found a used 2011 that looks good, has kdss and fairly low miles around 65k. It's close to 400 miles for me to get it but I would be willing to make the trip for the right truck. I've never bought a vehicle out side of my local area so I'm trying to be cautious. This pic has me a little worried. Both the exhaust and the trailer hitch show some rust, just wondering if that is a sign of some not so good things underneath? Should I even consider this truck?

Ask em to take pictures of the undercarriage. If anything it could just be a little surface rust, but it could have been through a lot of hard winters with lots of salt on the road and the prior owner never washed the underneath.

Depending on your budget, you should be able to find something, you are at the tail end of the 5th generation, so you should have some options. I'm not sure how concerning the rust is but the photo is concerning.
I almost purchased a 4th gen in similar circumstances as you but i'm glad I didn't.

Located in OH. I've scoured a ton of websites for used TE and they are very few and far between. You can find an sr5 on just about any lot but I'm pretty dead set on a TE. I don't have a ton of money or time to build a rig so building up an SR5 isn't really in the cards. Beyond wheels and tires it will stay relatively stock so the locker and kdss is appealing because it will get me to most places I want to go, even a few where the SR5 might struggle. I've also got a pretty tight budget so new and even newer is too expensive. I found a few 2014 TE's that I would love to purchase but at around 35k is more than I've got to spend.
Gobi Ladder for Sale

Up for sale is a Gobi ladder that is approximately 1.5 months old. A freak accident happen and the gobi ladder ended up saving the 4runner from damage. There are two scraps on the ladder, which has a light coating of paint to prevent any oxidation from occurring to the metal. The new hardware is included with the ladder. The only item that is need is the double sided tape for the bottom of the ladder.
Price: 160 obo
Shipping is at the cost of the buyer and locals (within driving distance, 45 mins one way) have priority. I have a set of custom built rock sliders that I took off my 15 4Runner TE. It has KDSS but they should fit any 2010-15, but no guarantees on fit. They are only about 6 months old and in great condition with no rust or gouges. Upgraded to Hefty Fabworks sliders today.
