WTB: 2014 Limited rear bumper in Pearl White
Hi Everyone,
I know the odds are slim, but was hoping someone who has a 2014+ Limited rear bumper in pearl white decided to go with an aftermarket rear bumper and wanted to sell their OEM one.
My wife backed into something and I'm looking for a new one that is already in the right colour.

I know it would be cheaper and less of a waste if you could find one removed... but I've been seeing some on ebay

the ebay ones look pretty rough in general. My unfortunately buckled and cracked so to fix it is a pain.
Body shops have quoted me around 1100 to 1300 to have a brand new Toyota rear bumper cover installed. Since labour is so expensive these days, to fix my old one is pretty much the same price as a brand new one.
The bumper cover is $344 dollars. Toyota online dealerships list them at $241... but come unprimed and unpainted. Shipping can't be cheap either.
oh well... Looks like I'll be eating this one. Not sure if it's a good idea to go through insurance on a 50/50 parking lot fender bender. My deductible is $500.

Now you got me thinking... I'm going to see how much for a shop to obtain, prep, and paint a new bumper cover only and I do the removal and install myself. Maybe cut the bill by 1/2.

I see a new unpainted/unprimed bumper with chrome trimming on ebay for $295 shipped. Maybe see what a paint shop would charge to paint it and then do the installation yourself (it's not as hard as it seems). Ebay item number: 321823819594

a couple months ago the wifey took the boys to Scouts. I had about 75mins to myself. I had never removed anything from an automobile. In those 75mins, I was able to search here for a thread on removing the rear bumper, find the sockets I needed, pull off the rear bumper cover, remove the rear valance, put the bumper cover back on, spray the valance, put away my tools, and wash my hands. Point?
It's pretty simple and I certainly wouldn't pay someone more than $30 to do it. Unless your time is more valuable than that.

Rear suspension and springs has 9K miles
Toytec springs: 200lb
I'll even throw in a rear spacer to correct any time of lean that may occur.
