Are you asking if this cargo cover came out of a 4th gen 4runner? If that's the question, the answer is no. It came out of a 5th gen.

Oddly enough... while rummaging through my attic to find a box, I found the cargo cover from my old 4th gen 4Runner. Maybe I'll give that one away on the 4th gen forums. I thought they just gave away those things with the purchase of a new car... didn't realize it was an add-on.

AFAIK, they come with the vehicle (both my 3rd gens had them) but some owners (like you I guess) take them out and never use them, then when they trade the vehicle in (like my 2012's PO), they forget to put it back in.

I like having a cargo cover when I take certain items to work that I'm not supposed to have on the property (really???) but have a range trip planned after work or over lunch. Not to mention just general privacy...

I'm interested in buying the entire sliding rear cargo deck unit. I will need all the pieces as my 4Runner didn't come with one. I would really prefer one in excellent condition and from a 2015 or newer. If you're pulling yours out please let me know. Thanks!

Pretty sure they were standard on the 4th gen, but not on the 5th Gen. It might depend on the dealer though. All the Dealers in MI I have seen, it is not included.
