It is and Rorck has a RTT mounted to his. Mine will have one as well and it will work out great. Sounds like he didn't like it, but great deal for someone!!!

OEM remote start out of 2017.

Includes all parts to install. Module, wiring.

Will need to be programmed from dealer.

Not sure if we can program through techstream.

Looking for someone who replaced their HU and still has their original lying around collecting dust. I just need the main board so one with a broken screen works for me.

For me, there are 2 reasons:

1. It is illegal in the state of TX to leave your car running attended. Thus, remote start is illegal in TX (and several other states, BTW).

2. I could see that it would be nice to have remote start if I lived in a cold place and had to park outside. But, I live in San Antonio (we got 1 freeze last year) and I park in a garage at home and work. Thus, I have zero need for this.

It is illegal to leave your car running, also known as "puffing" which is meant for those who leave the keys in the vehicles and are running for long periods of time. This is a law here in Colorado, but remote starts are legal.

Remote starts are very useful for the heat as you can have the A/C on and get into your nice cool vehicle, just like the heater for when it is cold outside.

Agreed...i could use it here in Hawaii after a long day of work being parked outside.
