Man that sucks. I caught a guy snooping in my garage when I was on the phone inside my car. Part of me agrees to let it go. The other part of me would confront and verify it is yours so you know who the guy is. Get his phone number too. Then invest in a good wifi cam so you have clear picture quality of what's going on.

I highly recommend the Ring Doorbell and the Stickup cam. Extremely easy to install and setup and it works amazingly well. This coming from a cop and I have both as security for my home and family.

Specifically, the head unit removal video.

The piece that goes around the gear shifter comes off similarly. Just pull up.

No broken tabs it all comes off fairly easily except the face plate off the head unit but if you are wrapping it you won't have to actually remove the front off the electronics.
