Not sure if Idaho does trade tax credit when trading in, but here in Indiana they do. So if you get $31k for your 4Runner on trade, that would save you $2,170 on taxes (calculated at 7% Indiana rate). In order to come out ahead of the dealer, someone would have to buy it for $33,170 here then.

Great point. I would not be taxed on the trade in value.

Also, if you are in SoCal and would want to pay to have your spindles swapped out and gusseted spindles put back on, would be happy to give these to someone. They are the sway bar gussets that retain your sway bar. You will have to have an aftermarket upper arm to use them and aftermarket wheels
