i would keep the stock alternator for back up, i had an high output alternator went dead on me at the 2 year mark. good then i had a back up and sent the failed one for warranty work. very reliable now after repairs.
thanks for catching that.
it's been sitting on my workbench for over a year like other things. I don't disagree but not in the habit of keeping stuff around. will have a lot more stuff to sell soon.
