Now, If it's not a hundred degrees this weekend, I might get the front speakers in. Fingers crossed.
 
I got a chance to work on the Face plate for the sub box this evening.
Hopefully, when it's all covered in vinyl, it'll still look good...

How did you attach the cover to the box?

The cover is screwed on from the back. I drill a 1" hole in the back of the box and use a long screw driver to reach through the box to install the screws. Then plug the back holes with 1" dowell. This is the only way to get to these screws in such a shallow box. If you build a bigger box, you can reach inside the speaker hole to drive the screws in. Double check the screw length.

Sorry, Im not in business to build boxes, and there is no patern. I back the car up to the shop & test fit each piece.
So, if you lived down the street and didnt need your car for a couple weeks and had a hot wife, we could make a deal.

nice build, how much did it cost to build your box? rough estimate? what kind of amp are you running and are you still using the stock stereo?

Man I really like the finished product looks amazing. I cant see any of the other pics though. Is anyone else having this trouble?
