5th gen T4R Center Console Tray from Salex Organizers

Just ordered all three from Amazon.

What I want to do is to cut the upper dividers such that the owner's manual etc. will fit, while leaving in the lower supporting dividers. I think to do this I will need to find some plastic "L-brackets" and glue them into the lower compartments to keep the supports in place.

Anyone have suggestions or alternative on this?

Yeah, I purged a bunch of "non essential" photos and that was one. Basically took a Lipton (square) ice tea bottle and cut the bottom 1.5" off it, and used that as a divider / change holder. Actually I have since usurped that with a plastic ammo container that came with some Federal Hydrashock .45 ammo I bought... the clear plastic lid of that is a perfect fit in the console top and is a convenient way to divide up the Salex a little more.

When you cut the vertical dividers leave the notch in tact to keep the vertical dividers locked to the horizontal piece. About a 1/4" above the horizontal piece would work and still provide room for the manuals.

New trays for RAM and GM

If you have friends and family driving a RAM truck let them know I just came out with a center console tray for them. If you have friends and family driving a full size Chevy / GMC truck or SUV I have a center console tray for them too. Both also have grid organizers that can go below.

Salex Organizers has dropped the price on the 4Runner and Tacoma trays. I mention the Tacoma tray because it fits the gen4 4Runner. Take a look at the thread.

Dear Salex,

I just have one suggestion to improve these.

The cut plastic edges are rather sharp and I got a couple of superficial cuts on my knuckles today. Well I've got big clumsy hands, what can I say. I will probably take emery paper to them to smooth them off.

I'm wondering if fixing that with a de-burring or by heat treatment in the fabrication process might be doable for you.

Ordered a pair of them - excited to reign-in my OCD .

One complaint though. I realize shipping to Canada is inconvenient and we've got 1/10th the population up here but you're charging us $151 CAD for just the bottom organizer on amazon.ca (equivalent to $121 USD at todays exchange rate). What did we ever do to you?!!? out:

Joking aside though, I just ordered through amazon.com and had it shipped to Montana - a buddy will pick it up for me. You'd likely sell a few more units to your nice ol' neighbours up here if you reeled in those prices a little.

Excellent product idea nonetheless - even if you are kicking the proverbial puppy by overcharging us

WOW! I took a look on Amazon.ca at Salex Organizers products. That is not me selling them there. I experimented with Amazon.ca a couple years ago and it was hard to make money and price things reasonably. Taxes, duties, and freight are painful to US sellers.

I have the same problem in the US with Amazon trolls cluttering up Amazon copying my listings at 5x the price. Not sure the reason.

It is not ideal but Vehicle OCD™ products can be exported to Canada from both EBAY and Amazon.com. I wish I had a better solution for you guys. Anyways, thanks for the business and the laugh.

Just searching for center console organizer solutions and came across this old thread, ordered both for the center console, it's a huge space which is great, but tough to optimize the use without something like these.

These were the first things I ordered when I got my rig. Fit & finish is perfect and does exactly what I needed them to do. Now the console is functional and no longer a black hole.
