Hello all
I just turned 50K on my 2014 Limited. My concern is that the service schedule seems a little sketchy. Oil every 10K w/the 0W-20 Syn has been fine, but honestly other than that, unless you drive in “severe” conditions, there are no interval guidance on transmission flush, differential fluid r&r, coolant flush (including hose r&r), and fuel filter r&r. I’m used to owning older cars and doing these routinely, but do understand the intervals are less often (nonexistent?) with more advanced synthetic fluids. Yes, the service manual says to “inspect” the fluids and the hoses but my father trained me that if you start seeing problem symptoms in fluids, it means your too late in a lot of cases. So, can anyone opine on a reasonable change interval for these items that would constitute a proactive and reasonably preventative maintenance schedule???
