I think the owners name was Mark, they are all super nice and helpful, I went to their website, not very intuitive and doesn't seem to have everything on the site. I know that they had other sliders built for 4Runners. I copied their contact information below. Good luck

I had a custom mount made for my Alpine "RUX-C800" DSP Remote Module. It slips in under the USB Access Door where the center console meets the dash. Check out the awesome detail that matches the "lip" in the door (door is still 100% accessible). Precision at its finest It is removable if needed. I dig it!

A shop in League City TX did the work - called "Car Tunes". They also sealed and deadened my doors (dead as a doornail!) and installed a pair of Morel Elate 9" Woofers, and are making custom dash-rings to squeeze a pair of Morel 4" point-source speakers in the factory locations (still a work in progress). I highly recommend them if you are in the area...

Indeed. The 2013 SR5's use the selector knob like the Limited.

Today, I changed my oil for the first time @ 3700 Miles. I figured it's not a bad idea to change it after a proper break-in period. It was pretty dark - I'm not sure if Toyota adds some break-in additive from the factory - but I'm glad I changed it regardless. Antman's thread made it a no brainer (thanks Antman! :hail: )

I also tossed on a set of 1" wheel spacers as I thought the stock 17" rims and stock sized BFG All-Terrains should be pushed out further to look proper. Then, I had to mod the front fender wells to avoid rubbing - and all is good! I think it looks much better with the wider stance (pics to come) - and I still squeak into the mud-guards/flares so I'm not flinging crap all over the side of my truck (hate that!).

After that, I gave her a quick wash and leather conditioning, checked the tire pressure, and topped off the tank. She was well-pampered today! :kiss:

Hey Randyman!
Quick question, so 2013 4runners they changed the actuator for switching 2wd and 4wd. Can you drive in 4wd now on dry payment like in 4th gen or they just switch the actuator.

The '13 SR5 still uses the "Part Time" 4x4 - They simply omitted the shift lever in lieu of the electronic selector knob - not sure why - but seems to work OK and I like the console layout better w/o the Transfer Case lever...


Pics of the 1" Wheel Spacers I installed yesterday (with the stock 17" SR5 Rims and 265/70R17 BFG All-Terrains). I think they look perfect . I had to do the quick fender-liner mod up front - but after that no rubbing that I can tell!

With a light-foot, I still averaged 22MPG on my drive to work today - but that will go down if I dig in even a little or drive more than a few miles off the highway. I also have 300-400lbs of Audio Gear in this truck - and still get over 20MPG as long as I make a conscious effort towards fuel economy...

what size tires n rims? looks good! any rubbing??

17x9 12mm offset and 275/70. There is a little rub in reverse I'm hoping the day star lift will help this.

Hey guys, first time poster - long time forum reader. I finally decided to take some time and post my pictures and video of my 4Runner. Hope ya enjoy!

PS - By the 2nd week I had her I'd already torn the inside to shreds doing a massive audio/video/GPS install - my wallet is now COMPLETELY EMPTY!!! :Cry:

Tires and spacers are just some of my more "minor/aesthetic" mods The BFG's were an extremely cheap addition compared to the audio install (close to 5 figures)! Once I put a dent in my M/C bill, I'll be looking for the TRD Supercharger to be released, too!

My 5th Gen TE First Mod

2012 4Runner TE first mod is rock sliders. Have to put a good word in for John at White Knuckle Off Road. Awesome product, great customer service and an all around solid dependable guy! I'm thinking about front bumper next.....
