After a meeting in Salida (CO) on Saturday, I did a quick overnighter for a sunrise photoshoot at the Maroon Bells, along with some client work. After finishing up that work, I headed home by way of Hagerman Pass (Basalt, CO to Leadville, CO).

About halfway up to the summit, it started raining and the road got a bit rocky so I put the 4Runner into 4-Low and enabled Terrain Select "Rock."

Amazed at how much this feature really does help, when crawling up muddy, rocky terrain. I can say this much...I really REALLY love my 4Runner. Definitely need better tires, though the stock Dunlop GrandTrek 2.0's did manage the trip fairly well (a few times I felt the tires not gripping as much as I'd have preferred):
