5th Gen T4R Picture Gallery

Enjoyed getting out this weekend to finally shake-down the new OME BP-51 Suspension. A little rub on front drivers side - addressing that this week - but otherwise AMAZING performance.

We swapped out our front bumper last night for the PelfreyBil bumper. Really impressed with this bumper on all levels. We'll be installing the light bar and front fogs sometime after we get back from Overland Expo and then the front end will be complete!

The bracket in which your toggle switches, for your light are mounted in (under the usb plug and wallet hole on the center counsel)

Ouch dude, sorry to see that - hopefully everyone was ok - doesn't look like your airbags deployed although having just been through a high-speed front-end collision myself where every single airbag deployed, I would be shocked to hear if yours didn't do the same with what appears to be a much larger area of impact.

Mine was $25k+ in damage with much less exterior damage than yours - so if all your airbags went off, you are 100% going to be totaled out.

Well I'm glad we all walked away! Just goes to show how solid these trucks really are! My airbags didn't go off at all, and I was doing about 30 when I hit the brakes about 10' before hitting him. I'm headed over to the Body shop now to see what their assessment is.

I've had my 2012 for about a year and a half now. Just put on a set of BGK KO2 for a Colorado road trip, and now the mod itch is becoming more and more unbearable.

Lots of stuff around here. Lots of people go out near Ellijay and Jasper as well. Out in TN towards Copperhill there are some old mines. Harder to explore as most are now securely closed off and some very dangerous. Cross over to TN going towards Chatanooga on the River Road where the Ocoee River is. The old 96 summer olympics whitewater courses. Great side forest roads. Excellent camping areas..

I just tend to explore a bit. Just my wife and I. My service dog another dog. And recently even our cat has to go with us lol. Too funny that cat. But, just haven't gotten out much lately and never really been out in a caravan with others. Again check out some of the Other Toyota Gatherings and Jeep Gatherings. They are up in this general area all of the time.

As far as my injury. No worries. I proudly would do it all over again. It was in the service of our great country. On the positive side I wouldn't be where I am now and able to retire in a cabin here without having been through what I went through. It is like anything else you do the best with the hand you get dealt and mine is with honor, morals, values, and respect for my fellow brother and my country.

Doc, Thank you for your service. Like the saying goes, "old soldiers never die, they just fade away". I'll keep that legacy of yours going though, through the values we both hold.

You can look at my build thread. It is just a carling switch bracket. I cut out the bottome pocket and hot glued it in that place. Go the idea from another member but expanded upon their idea. By also using carling switch backs on the switches and making a harness that goes to an completely seperate under the hood fuse block in its own circuit from the factory components with its relays and self healing fuses in one location. All the switches are ignition independent, while the first two are ignition and hi beam independent only. Was thinking of adding a master cutoff under the hood as well to complete turn of the circuit in an emergency or if I just hand over the cehicle to avalet or a family member etc. so they dont ruin anything or wear down my batteries by mistake.

I don't think that will be totaled unless you push it. It looks mostly front sheet metal and plastic. The lines where the front fenders and the doors meet look good to me in the photos. Was the radiator leaking?. If you did not get into the radiator or the frame they will most likely fix it... Just my 2cents
