I'm using the maxtrax tire harness carrier. They make a complete kit for that.

My boss's Raptor vs my T4R. Makes the 4 runner look narrow, but it's interesting to compare the clearance and profile of the 2 vehicles. I have a leveling kit, but otherwise stock suspension. The raptor is stock also on KO2s.

I've searched far and wide on this forum and google for the following with no luck! Has anyone ever done or seen a 5th Gen with 265 All Terrain tires on a lift such as the Icon Stage 1? I'm curious as to whether or not the wheels and tires would look ridiculous utilizing the 2" rear lift spring that comes with the Stage 1.

I come from a sports car background and using something like a rear spacer just seems kind of like a band-aid of sorts compared to a properly matched spring/damper setup so I'm curious if the 2" rear lift is just too high for the sidewall of a 265 tire. I wouldn't plan to do any hardcore offroading but definitely forest roads and mild off-road adventuring and I'd like to keep my needing-to-cut-body-parts to a minimum. Also, as a daily driver, the less hit on gas mileage the better.

Anyway, if anyone has any examples of this or a similar setup, I'd love to see them!

That's seriously stock suspension?? I could've sworn it was lifted by the looks of it. Handsome truck either way though!

2016 Trail, 2008 & 2004 Limited and 2004 SR5

Hi-

Have been part of this for a long time. Started when I got my 2004 SR5 new followed by a 2008 then 2016 Trail then I bought another 4Runner (white 2004 Limited) from a friend of the family. Always have driven Toyotas - owned a 1990 Toyota pick up, 1994 Corolla (was an amazing car - regret selling it), 1997 Cecilia (also an amazing car that I traded in for a Tacoma) and 2000 Tacoma (also amazing truck sold to my mechanic in 2004 who still drives it to this day). Am more partial to 4Runners - love them deeply.
