5th Gen T4R Picture Gallery

Some pictures from my recent trip. The 4runner did well, despite the OEM tires. The problem occurred in a narrow canyon due to the 4runner being so wide and due to my inattention. It was at the end of a long hard day. I really smashed it into a rock on one side which knocked the other side into a tree branch. Thank goodness I had turned RSCA off. A few dents to the front plastic was all the damage. No alignment problems that I can determine yet. Anyone know how to fix the plastic? Use boiling water somehow to mold it back into shape?

On the trip I got to see how annoying the downhill assist can be in 4lo. Maybe if I had really needed it I would feel different, but it sucks for slight downhills.

Less than with Thule bars on the stock crossbars. The wind noise increased slightly with the addition of the lights about 2 months ago, but I can still have the sunroof open and barely hear the additional noise.

I am going slightly nuts waiting for mines to get here. I really just wanted to comment on those rims and wheels. VERY NICE
I first saw XD rims on a Tundra - I believe they where Rockstars on a lifted Tundra - loved them and have always wanted a set. Thanks for the pictures it keeps me a bit happy until I can get my own in DECEMBER....SUX!

Finally Got My Trail Edition!!!

After more than a month of messing around, I finally took delivery of my new 2010 Salsa Red Trail Edition yesterday! Of course, it went straight to the tire shop for new shoes. I'm already loving it and looking forward to some Arizona off-road adventures. I'll post off-road or scenic photos as I get the chance.
