A refresh for my 2011 nearing 150k miles. New suspension, wheels, tires. Ready for another 150k. Still runs and drives like new, no rust (Texas owned).
This is remarkable, looks fantastic.
Joined the 4Runner family less than 24 hours ago.
My wife got the 2022 Limited in black. It’s got a good amount of chrome and 20” wheels.
Now I’m on the hunt for some runners that would look good with this much chrome and sticks out enough to help stop some doors from dinging the car.
I’m finding some plastic OEM runners with a chrome trim, but I’m not sure how well those hold up to bumps and if they stick out far enough. I wouldn’t mind the sturdier, more off-road, runners but I’m worried it won’t match the style of the car.
I’m trying to avoid the one with steps like the post above.
Wondering if anyone has a good setup I can copy.

Picked it up with 2 miles. So far so good. Love the ride. Less brake dive than my ‘15 orp. I don’t hate the 20s in person as much as I thought, though I am an unsprung weight nerd so 17s are in my future. Cheers.

Got the same car. Would be really interested to know what sort of rocker rails or running boards you got for this bad boy.

Luckily my kids are now old enough that they can get in without steps. So, I'm not going with running boards. And, I'm not going to kid myself that I'm taking this out in the rocks. Plus (ok, sorry), I personally don't like the side-view look with steps/rockers that hang below the rocker. IMO looks like a belly-dragger. So, none for me this time 'round.

2014 Trail Edition with cool thingys like hood scoop, crawl control, locking rear diff, etc. - well, you know. I still have my lifted 4th gen, selling a Hummer H3 if anyone wants that. LOL, jk.

good call ------- I ordered mine with predator steps...........I am going to pull them off in the spring when I get back to new england .
