mtbnole - I was thinking about cont. over the roof, but only about 8in in front of the sunroof is visible, so it seems like a waste $ to further wrapping. I am also considering a gobi, which would cover it anyways.

Funny, I thought about doing my roof before the bajarack went on, and still might go back and re-do it.

I know I never see it, but the thought of bird**** cooking into the paint that i can never clean with the rack on there just bugs me...

That's an interesting point.

I would choose a different finish other than matte though as bird poop stains just about anything, including the matte colors. Less noticeable on a gloss or clear. IMO, still not worth the hassle or cost of a good coin opt power washer.

I really like the matte kinda gives it that "Rat Runner" look :wink2: I also agree on the matte black for the wheels, are you going to stay with the OEM tires or ?

Here are a couple of pics of new 4 Runner. Still loving it. Planning on lift but at this time I haven't rubbed once.

Thanks bay33. You too. This shot was taken near anthem hills park a couple days ago. Headin up to mt charleston tomorrow. U ever take that ride off road? Would be fun to get some other lv 4 runners together and head up there.

I have only taken it lightly off road when I go shooting down south LV Blvd, mine is still bone stock and I have those skinny ass tires on the LE. I don't live that far from anthem, I'm in Southern HIghlands.

Las Vegas Backroads

LOL I think I saw you jumping on I-15 the other day at Silverado Ranch, couldn't really tell though as I was way behind.
I have only taken it lightly off road when I go shooting down south LV Blvd, mine is still bone stock and I have those skinny ass tires on the LE. I don't live that far from anthem, I'm in Southern HIghlands.

I'm also in Anthem area (Madeira Canyon). Have Salsa Red TE and am planning to do area offroads such as some near us (Sloan Canyon), Mt Charleston, Mormon Well, the one from Red Rock over the Spring Mountains and others (see Bird and Hike . com for several suggested roads).

Also interested in going a bit farther to California and Utah for multiday trips. Backroad meetup groups around here seem to be either Jeep only or mostly technical off-roading.
