I've never been to Europe but I really wouldn't expect to see something like this there. Do you get a lot of strange looks or are (modded) trucks/SUV's more common there than I am assuming?

Custom truck in Europe

I've never been to Europe but I really wouldn't expect to see something like this there. Do you get a lot of strange looks or are (modded) trucks/SUV's more common there than I am assuming?

Yah, I get tons of looks. Never bad looks though. The locals are more upset that they can't afford a big truck like mine because of extreme gas prices and super high insurance. Luckily as a us citizen our insurance is the normal "stateside price" and as for gas, we pay the same as stateside too, about $3.90 a gallon. I also had a lifted 2010 Tundra Crewmax 5.7 on 35's last year (In my albums), and that one got tons of looks too.

If your military, you can order a US SPEC vehicle while stationed in Europe. The only kicker is with Toyota's, you can't customize your vehicle, you can only buy what ever AFFES pre-ordered. But Audi's, BMW's, Volvo's you can customize to your liking. It's a perk, that I hope never goes away

LOL. Just terrorizing the place! Cool, didn't realize you were an American serving overseas- I just assumed you were German. $3.90 isn't bad either. It's CDN$5.10 where I live (US$5.30ish).
