Here's my first 4R.. My bro and I spent a few hrs. at altitude (5500) last Saturday and put the new rig through it's paces.. BFG A/T's & mild lift commin soon.. I am taking my Warn M8000 & Viair 450H off of my old truck.. J.

Ya, the white taco is going back to stock, it's been there to put it gently lol..
The runner is almost too sweet to turn into a trail rig but it's probably goin that direction. The white truck really never showed the NW pinstriping. Hows the job?? ps. we parked next to each other at Reiter once but every one was bailing at that moment.. J

Yea, my Runner will not see serious wheeling for a few years. My truck is getting old and still sees the abuse. I have done three trip to Moab in it now.
I do remember that Reiter run now. Those were the good old days
. The job is great. No shortage of job security if you know what I mean. Can't wait to see your Runner all done up.

Had a little fun after work today. Brought the crew with me.
I've haven't been in Texas very long and the move from North Carolina really hurt my surfing, but I'm adjusting and having a little fun at the same time.

AHA!......it was you i saw. I had seen you in Birmingham a few weeks ago on Hwy 280. I was trying to catch up to you and just about the time i did, you turned off onto I-459. Great looking truck!

Thanks man. I had seen yours by the Outdoors place. When i came out you were gone, but i saw you ahead when i was turning on to 280. Your truck looks really good. Let me know if you come through town again.

A couple more from last weekend. Currently trying to decide on which lift to go with? I might have to take my daughter up in the mountains this weekend. She sure loves the 4R..

Lookin' good. How much do you want to spend on a lift? I have been happy with my setup. Super easy to install too. You don't even have to hassle with the KDSS swaybar.

Just enough to put a set of BFG A/T's (265/70/R17) without rubbin in the front. I was thinking of going the Bilstien kit.?? Every time I have a set of hoes/Icons or Burgs go out on my daily driver it kind of bites. Unfortunately, I will probably end up with Icon's in front (next spring) but I just want some good tread for ski season..
Any opinions on the 5100 kit???

I don't have any experience with the Billy 5100 setup but I know plenty on here run them and are happy. I have always been a fan of the adjustability of CO's. You are right, though, they do require maintenance.
As far as fitting 265-70 BFG AT's, you can easily get by with no lift if you want. You just have to do the front fender liner mod or do some trimming to clear the AT lugs.
