So I finally got around to switching out the stock wheels and tires on my wife's 2011 LE after 39,000 miles. I spent a ton of time researching options and recommendations on this forum and appreciate all the information contained in this group. I ended up going with some FJ Cruiser stock rims (17"), found them used on Craigslist and had them powdercoated black, wrapped them with the General Grabber AT2s in 265/70/17. Swapped out the stock suspension with Bilstein 5100s and had the front windows tinted. I also Plasti Dip'd the roof rails which really makes for a HUGE improvement in the overall look of the truck.

Here is a pic of my new SR5 with new tires and wheels. Looking to sell the original wheels if anyone has suggestions where to post.

I think you'll be happy with those tires, I've put almost 50k on mine. I've taken them on highspeed desert runs, desert trails, and snow drifts with no problem. Mud not so great though...

No more 20s! I just bought the same rims today with Michelin 285/70 M/S.

The rims are MB TKO from Discount tire. I believe they are made for DT. PS: LOVE 'em so far!

LOL! I jokingly told the salesman at the dealer that I would take the SR5 4X4 4Runner if they threw in the wheels from the Trail 4Runner. He switched them right away, without hesitation!

Can you pics some racurs of forward? And have anybody information about difference of bumpers colors for Silver Trail, have it monotone view or part of bumper in another silver (gray) not like a body?

ps asked about scale of trails forward and rear bumpers, how it named??

Here's a tip when it comes to 4wheel parts store always call the online number cause they ship free to store don't let them try and charge u shipping. If ur planning on putting extra lights and want a clean look let me know I got a switch that makes it look oem fits right into them empty slot if u have one. Do u have the 3rd row?
