Hello all,
I traded in my 2004 SR5 for this 2013 SR5 in Marshall, TX this week.
I was sad to see my 4th gen go. I loved that thing but my 5th gen is growing on me. I'm not new to the site change changing from posting in the 4th gen forum to the 5th gen forum.

It does look like a dent. Thankfully it's just a reflected rock. May have to 'shop that out too
while your shopping out that rock, remove the 4runner also.
that way I can shop mine into its place :yield:

Yea that was probably me I've had it for about 1.5 months now. I have yet to see another TRD Pro in the area, I'll keep an eye out for your white one :thumb3:

Thank you! Here is a side view and a view of my favorite part (the quarter panel). I'll take some better photos of everything and start a thread later this week.

^^^ Looks cool but not sure how that TRD Pro is going to deal with the wrap when off road; I am still stressing over all the new pinstriping I gave mine on my last outing...lol.

It's going to peel, I forgot what his name was but he had a flat black wrapped 2010 and it peeled. Also BlairB's 4th gen peeled.
I think the best thing to do is plastidip it if you wheel it & it's not as expensive.

A "good" vinyl wrap job won't peel. It will scratch to all hell though.

I'm just going off of my first hand experiences and what I've seen on the forums. I wheeled with a guy from Chicago that had a $4k wrapped FJ and it was starting to peel, albeit we were wheeling in some tight deep brush in Missouri, obviously if you're more out west that might be a different story.
But this is BlairB's if you haven't seen it. Go to the next page, where he says it doesn't hold up and he's from out west.

Not saying id do either dude. i work in the industry though and I'm just telling you that unless you're rubbing your truck against stumps and rocks a well applied vinyl wrap won't peel. I haven't seen BlairB's wrap up close nor do I know who did it. Being that I plan on using both of my 4Runners off road, and the forest pin striping is as bad as anywhere here in Washington I'm not wrapping anything, it scratches way too easily. But I wouldn't worry about it peeling. And while its a much cheaper option, I don't prefer the look of plastidip. Vinyl wrap can look like ass too depending on how well it's installed(creases, debris under the film, etc)
But damn, you can't deny that his TRD Pro looks amazing!
