How much of a lift do you have on the TR4? It looks good. I'm more of a 2010'-13' body style much because of the grille. But all in all nice looking ride

Thanks man, its a 3 inch lift (Toytec Boss).

The Tacoma is a 2.5 (Bilstein) I believe.

no point coming up to minot, there is nothing to see up here except maybe the international peace gardens. outside of that everything is below I-94 worth sight seeing.


rules for the peace garden to get back into the usa are a big inconvience, compare to before 9-11. all you needed was a usa drivers license.

Visitors from either country can enter the park via US 281 or MB 10, without passing through customs, and may move throughout the park (crossing the international boundary at will) without restriction. However, customs stations for Canada and the U.S. are located on the roads just north and south (respectively) of the access drives for the garden, requiring all visitors – including those returning to the country from which they arrived – to go through the immigration procedures of their destination country upon leaving the garden

also to add, state parks a filled to the brim on weekends and holidays are chaos.

I usually fish the state reserves during weekends (but I pick ones there are no camp areas nearby or none at all), but then on major holidays everyone is pulling a 26+ footer out to the remote areas to camp the whole weekend. you see a lot of double tandems (F250-2500 or F350-3500 pulling a camper and boat at the same time) around here during the major holidays.

everyone hits the parks for recreation up here since that about the only thing you can do locally for vacations.

so plan accordingly if you want to do layovers in ND parks and its the weekend.

I was set on the 3rd setting but if the SAW on the rear is that high, your 2.5" lift on the 4th makes more sense. It looks good. I was trying to avoid going above 2", I wanted a slight less rake compare to stock but still a rake look. On your other pix, it looks more level, here, it looks like a very slight rake.

Yea the fronts have settled slightly. Could be the alignment too.

Left the VW scene last week and picked up a '15 TE w/KDSS. I am loving this truck. My plans are to change out the wheels for the black TRD 17x7. Wondering if anyone has noticed a difference in ride stability with going from 17x7.5 to 17x7? I will be mating the wheels with some BF Goodrich T/A K02 at stock size. Not really interested in a lift, but would love to upgrade the suspension without resorting to the Billstein 5100s. Any suggestions would be helpful. Only change has been the emblem. Plastidipped white. Not a fan of chrome.

pictures from UWHARRIE this past weekend. was even able to save a jeep from the trail. loving the wheels, got a lot of complements on the trail about how "simple" and "tough" looking it is.
