I'm actively searching for either option.
Did you put a TE rack on an SR5 or Limited? I just got a 2010 TE rack that I want to put on my 2013 SR5. I thought it was "Plug and Play" but now I'm thinking I may need the special delete brackets I saw in the "delete" thread. Do you know if that's true?
I don't want to pull the rack off my SR5 and not be able to get the TE rack on. It rains a lot here...TIA

yes, I put a TE rack on my SR5 it bolts right on. Only thing special you will need is a torx bit

Is it the rack that looks like it touches the body of the vehicle for the length of the rack? There is a person on craigslist selling an all black TE rack form a 2013. I just want to make sure they are fastened the same. Do you have pics?

yes. all racks are interchangeable from 10-15. the 10-13 TE rack (all black that touches the roof the full length) will work just fine on your 4runner

I am a very proud owner of a 2015 SR5 Premium. 
Traded in my modded 2011 Subaru Forester XT (turbo). It was a tough decision because I loved my Subie, but we had a baby and needed more space. I missed my 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4x4...but did not miss the issues that came with it. We've never had an ounce of trouble out of our 2007 Tundra, or our 2007 FJ when we had it, so I looked to the 4Runner.
I couldn't be any happier, and have never been happier with a vehicle (and I've had a few...).
We can't leave our vehicles stock, so mods will come soon enough. For now she has tinted windows, and HIDs (yes I know...oh the controversy!!)
The day we picked her up.

Haha, we also traded in our Forester for the same color 4Runner and for the same reason (baby.) Although we didnt have the XT and now we don't have the Premium on the runner...You seem to be one-upping me!

Hah! I got the XT for the modding abilities...sharing parts with the WRX and STi was the main reason for getting it. We got the Premium on the 4Runner because we got a good deal on it, otherwise I would have been perfectly happy with a non-Premium SR5.
