the first one is my 2015 TE, the gray one is my now lost 2011 SR5

Have you been experiencing any rub with those ATP's? Are they 285's? From the info I am gathering from others with ATP 285's there is rubbing on the fender lining and the bumpers lower corners. I have ATP's in 285 and experience rub at full lock on those areas.

Got new tires today. Duratrac 265\70 17s. Happy happy.

i did have rubbing, i ended up trimming the fender, and pushing the fender liner forward. i made another hole on the fender liner and it kept it forward. no rubbing what so ever.

i also removed my front mud flaps. the tires was rubbing when i would turn.

Running Level 8 MK6 0mm offset 17x8 wrapped with Cooper Discoverer ATP 285/70/15. Lift is 2.5" front Bilstein 5100 and 1.5" Daystar rear spacers.

Ahhh, I miss drilling in the Bay. Looks like a Geoprobe 6610? Working with Gregg? Cascade? Not as much fun standing outside all day in my steel toes now that I live in VT!

Are you a driller? I don't envy you having to do field work in the northeast. Sounds coooooold. At least summer is coming.

The driller is a two-man operation named Vapor Tech Services. Glenn is the owner and the driller. The rig is a Geoprobe 7822DT which is a beast, it can do hollow stem too. That truck he has set up is sweet too, everything he needs ready to go and the rig on a trailer.

Nope...field geologist/field services manager. I remember when Glenn started his business, glad to see he's still punching holes. Left the Bay (last residence was Fairfax, Marin) last June for Vermont. Hung up my steel toes and hard hat and am now working for a company that builds and sells CPT rigs. However, I did work for a drilling company for a couple years (the same one Glenn started at) halfway through my consulting career.

Field work here sucks (cold in winter, humid in summer). When I moved to VT I spoke with a couple consultants but wasn't interested in chipping ice away from wells to collect samples...

Good to see another geologist. There are a surprising number of us running around sniffing dirt.

That truck was awesome. I owned it since new when I was 16. True love on four wheels. I sold it to a 16 year old so he can drive the crap out of it just like I did. So far the 4Runner seems to be a worthy successor.

I guess you could say former geologist here, educated, but never entered the field.
