I was hell bent on a 2016 Rubicon and all ready to go pick it up Saturday when my wife and I decided to at least go drive a 4R before spending that much cash.
A local dealer had the exact one I had built online in the color I wanted and for 4k less than a rubi. We drove it home 2hrs later! Absolutely love it.

Love the stance of the truck. I have a black TE as well and am looking to swap out the rims for a matte grey/gunmetal color to add contrast. How light are the FN BFDs you have? Also, do you have any rubbing issues with the 265/65R18s? They look relatively stock in overall height but look like you have more backspacing than stock.

I mounted some of those wheels on a Tacoma a couple wheels ago and they felt very light, with out knowing exactly it felt to me like maybe 20lbs if that each wheels. We mounted ko2s on them and came out to a very lightweight combo and ran very well. I was impressed and now I'm wanting a set but I have brand new tires in 17s and can't justify the price difference in tires to sell everything to go to 18s. Awesome wheel I have to say.

I just mounted FN Countersteer X's 17inch, -10 offset on some KO2's 265/70/17 and it's definitely a lightweight and high performance upgrade. The FN wheels are amazing & the 17's are even lighter than the 18's. Loving my setup and the truck is not at all sluggish. The handling hasn't been affected at all, if anything it has improved!

Thanks. I'm torn between those in matte grey and the trd pro matte grey. I'm just not excited about switching out tires right now too because the TOYOS in285/70r17 won't work with 7inch rims.....says the mfg.

Running 285/75/17 on 7" TRD wheels with no issues. Already have 4K on them.

Looking for 285/75 on my TRDP as well. Little concerned seeing tire mfg spec of 7.5" min wheel width. But ill probably go for it anyway.

That is my issues as well. The TOYO MFGs say rim width between 7.5-9.5 for their OC AT IIs at 285/70R17; which I have. I like the tire so far and want to keep running it for a while but really want to drop the 38# Fuel Vapor Rims to get a Matte Grey rim that I really like and is much lighter. I may just sell the complete package and get one of my three other choices...Cooper AT3s, ST Maxxes, or BFG KO2s; in 275/70R17. Don't really need a tire much bigger than stock anyhow for my purposes which are mostly family road trips and overlanding type activities. I live on the east coast so those opportunities are minimal unless I burn 3 weeks of leave and head out west.

How do these do off-road? Has anyone really torn one up playing in the rocks or anything?

Lip looks so thin in all these pictures like a rock would just destroy it.

I can't speak to the hardcore durability of them as I've only done light off roading. No rock crawling
