Too much jerking? Going to talk to Shrockworks. Also went up to Telescope peak trail head. Since i went alone, nobody to take action photos and rides were bumpy enough for me to focus on getting through the trails. Wish it was not such a long drive to get there.

Nice shots, I'm hoping to get down there for a little wheeling at the end of the year!
 
First trip in the Wild

After a whirlwind of work - Revtek lift, NFab Nerf bars, Level 8 MK6 wheels, Cooper 265/70R17 ST Maxx tires, and Front Runner rack over 2 weeks, it was time to get out of town and use it for it's created purpose!

Went over to Othello, WA for the Sandhill Crane Festival (photo at Scooteney Reservoir). Pretty damn pleased so far, looking forward to accumulating some miles this spring/summer.

And yes I do have a plan to replace the Level 8 logo:madgrin:

:rockon: another Washingtonian. I head over to Othello a couple times a year to fish.
 
drove up to tahoe last night and was Amazed at how well my 4runner drove in the snow, roads were unplowed with ice and two inches of snow. here is a photo from this morning after the storm cleared.

You will still want to lift it. On mine they rub a tiny bit on the fender liner at full lock when backing up and also a tiny bit on the mudflap when pulling into steeper driveway transitions. Based on that, I have no doubt that they will rub when off-road. I have the ToyTec 2" TRDP lift kit that I'll be putting in and then all should be good.

I am and I actually haven't climbed up in it yet. Didn't flex from the weight of it alone... however yeah going to have to see with weight. Going to give it a test this weekend. It was tight as hell getting my hands in their with a wrench to secure it.

I'll be interested in your feedback about the flex, or lack thereof. Did you use shorter bolts? I'd be concerned if the rails were to flex and the bolts were to dig themselves into the roof. Lemme know how it goes.

Short bolts and it is flipping raining so hopefully it stops today so I can open her up.
