Hey Bonsai-A, I work in the building on the left about one day a week and park in that same garage! I've seen your rig rollin' down Peakview. I took notice because at the time I was shopping for a 4R and I saw yours and thought, now that is an awesome truck! I just got my 4R, and it hasn't been to the office yet (will be Thursday). Good to know it will fit under the roof!

Camping and Offroading in Joshua Tree NP this last weekend. Had an awesome time! Drove the Geology Tour Road loop and watched the sunset from the trail.

From an '15 Subaru XT to '15 T4R SP Trail

Went from a 2015 Subaru Forester XT with an 1" lift kit and larger tires... To an 2015 T4R SP Trail with 5800 miles on it, with Toytec lift kit and 285/70R17 tires.

I'm loving the Whites and Reds in this pic! Your rides look fantastic.
Would you mind sharing what you did to color the front emblem and the shackles red? (spray paint or just new emblem etc.) I need that look for my ride!

Thank you. The shackles I bought red so that was easy. The emblem didn't come out as good as I want. It looks ok from far away but up close its kinda crappy. I taped a piece of paper over the logo and used a pencil to trace the logo. I then transferred they to a piece of red vinyl and then cut it out. I might redo it over. Not sure if o will use a red plastidip or maybe try to melt a piece of vinyl over it.

About 2.5". I'm running OME 884 Coils with Bilstein 5100s set at 0 (lowest setting), so all the lift is from the coils.

i didn't even know that was an option for the front bilsteins. I'm not too knowledgeable on lifts so forgive me if this is a dumb question, but why did you set it at 0 instead of 2.5 if the spring gives roughly 2.5" of lift ? Is there advantages to leaving the billy at 0?

No worries, I've done a bit of researching on this...

The adjustable billys have a 4 settings on the front shocks: 0 (lowest/neutral), 0.85, 1.75, 2.5.
I set mine at the neutral setting so there would be no preload on the shocks, giving a smoother/softer ride. The OME 884 coils are 2.5" longer than the factory coils and also have a little bit higher spring rate.

You can still run billys at the 2.5 (or any other setting) with Factory coils, but each setting higher will make the shock feel a little harsher (but still better than factory).

Hope this helps! if you have anymore questions, I suggest doing a search on Bilstein 5100s.. there are LOTS of good threads about this.

Horrible horrible pic, but it was the first taken of her. SR5p with 6 of the the hardest miles she'll ever see on her. My s-Eatin grin was ear to ear when I rolled up to the just delivered vehicle line up and it was first in line with 275/70 BFG ko2s. Poor sap across the aisle from me was taking delivery on a Highlander...one eye on his "heap of regret" and his wandering eye across the aisle....

Howdy All,

Don't want to jack anyone's thread, just wanted to add to it. This is my first post on this forum. WOW, there's wealth of info on this forum if you know what to look for. Harper7 is one of my favorite thread to read and learn on here. Everyone else is also very knowledgeable as well. I just picked up my first 2014 T4R Limited in red last week. Loving it so far. Upgrades so far are 20" KMC XD rims with Nitto shoes, dark front tint to match the rest of the truck. Getting a Daystar 2.5" leveling kit installed next week, can't wait for that upgrade. I added a 1up bike rack since I do a lot of riding locally. Last but not least, plastic dipping all the chrome bling on the truck. I'm not into the chrome thing. Looking forward to learning so much more on upgrading my T4R in the future from this T4R Family. Here's a few pics of my T4R.

Let me just say... WOW! Personally more of a black/gray-colored car guy myself, but that looks fantastic!
