spring time in western Ny. In the back ground you can see the east branch of the beautiful Niagara River, and behind that is picturesque Grand Island.

Live in the Buffalo Southtowns, small world. Don't see too many 4runners around WNY, unfortunately.

New Toytec Superflex rear shocks and total chaos UCA's installed with ICON 2.5" remote reservoirs all around... digging it so far! Although the new UCA's are a bit noisier than stock but I guess that's to be expected.

Thanks! 265/70/17 OEM for now... still debating on which bigger tires to get... really tough choice.

Meant to say Toytec Superflex Springs (not shocks) in the rear and ICON shocks all around. derp

Replaced my stock Dunlop minivan tires with less than 3000 miles on them. I went with BFG KO2s in 275/70R17. Pictures don't do it justice, but the look is night and day difference, so much that I actually kinda like it with stock SR5 wheels now. I wavered on whether to go black letters or white letters out, but I think I made the right choice on white paint.

Debating 275's or 285's... I'm not wanting to lift my 14' T4R SR5 Prem just yet. I've been scouring the forum for pix of stock rigs with 285's. I realize the sizing chart mentions trimming of fender liners and possibly the mud flaps, but wouldn't mind seeing some first hand experience of guys who have gone 285's - no lift - stock rims.....

Based upon the look of my 275s at full lock, I almost guarantee that 285 would rub a little on the front fender and mud flap. Tons of guys here have trimmed the front fender liner and removed mud flaps to make it fit. I chose 275 because of the marginal benefit to on-road efficiency and the lessened effect on the speedometer.

I think you'll be pretty happy with 275's if you don't want to lift. I had my 275 KO2's on for a few months before installing my lift. They looked pretty huge in the wheel well. I did have to push the fender liners forward a little and re drill the mounting holes to stop the rubbing. That did the trick, until I decided to get wheel spacers and then wider wheels hahaha
