What ramp and do you still have to get a permit? Ashame how much beach they have closed down for driving and you have to pay now. Wasn't like that when I was a kid.

Yeah man, the entire OBX on Rt 12 South (anywhere south of Hwy 158) you have to pay $50 for a week, which is ridiculous. They refuse to sell day passes, which I would be ok with but there is no way I'm paying $50 unless I'm going to be there for a whole week.
If you go north on Rt 12 toward Corolla, it is all free. That is where these pics were taken. No need for a pass, you just drive on to the beach and stay as long as you want. No over night camping that I'm aware of.

Thanks! Those are stock Nitto Terra Grapplers that come with the TRD PRO. Dropped the pressure to about 20 lbs each and they performed flawlessly!

Thanks again Tony. Funny, I drive I. The sand. Got a lift & my stock tires look small & hate the stock 2011 SR5 wheels on my silver. I have been looking at the Nittos as they seem to be the perfect for highway, offroad, snow & sand. In the p- metrics they seem to skip from 265/70/17 to 285/70/17. Was thinking of staying limiting to 275s but may take the MPG & speedo hit to get the upsized grapplers.

Man they jacked up the price. Was 25 the last time I was back home. Yeah Corolla is nice and I might start going there instead. I just love Hatteras and it was pretty much my second home in the summer. Parents built a house in Frisco but sold it after a couple years. What's really bs is that the locals have to pay for yearly passes. Anyway awesome Runner and pics brother! Makes me home sick.
