Looks like a blast! What kind of lightbar do you have on your roof rack?

My dad got it for free from a supplier contact of his. It's really bright, and the casing is billet aluminum so it seems rock solid. I had initially wired it though the back hatch and then undid that with plans to reroute it through the weatherstripping on the windshield. In the process of doing that I noticed a seal on one of the bulbs looks like it had leaked (you can kind of see the black spot above the drivers side). I would say that I recommend it, especially for the price, but that seal leaked after less than a year so not sure about quality. It's possible that since it was free it was a janky one in the first place, I don't know. Trying to decide if there's a way I can send it back to them and have it replaced because I do like it, but probably not since the deal went down off the books.

It looked like close range 12 gauge bird shot to me. The splatter pattern around the hole kinda ruled out slugs... but honestly, rural New Mexico is what happened. No sign is sacred here.

Congrats! If that's your garage in the background of the picture, be careful of your garage header clearance. It will dictate what rooftop accessories you add as well as how high your 4Runner gets lifted!!

Finally got to put my cheap eBay kayak racks to use. After cutting off about 1/4" of the mounting screws to prevent rubbing on the roof, they worked perfectly. Too bad I didn't catch any fish though :fish2:

This is my first post and first 4Runner mod.
(I had a 2012 4Runner bone stock SR5).
I bought the tires and wheels after seeing how great they look on other members rides.

Good looking rig, do you have any pictures of the light bar in the bumper on? Which light bar is that? I am very interested in that bumper for my 5th gen, but haven't seen any of the lights on in the bumper pics.

Howz it jstim. Thanks man. actually i don't have any pictures with the lights bars on yet. I'm still looking for a good camera to take that shot. my iPhone doesn't do enough justice. lol. those are Rigid Industries. obviously not as bright as my roof rack light bar but it still pretty bright !
