Having had nothing but good luck and good times with my 2006 SR5 4x2, I was looking to upgrade to a new(er) 4x4 version. Unfortunately very few of y'all ever sell your trucks, and when you do the market is strong (at least in my area). As a result I started shopping new, and found a TRDORP in blue with moonroof (a must), crossbars (for surfboards, SUPs etc.) and a few other goodies that was en route to my local dealer. I went through the Costco buyers' program and got a pretty good deal. So far I'm really happy with the new rig. Initial impressions are that it sits a little higher, has a lot more electronic goodies (how did I ever survive without a backup camera?) and drives very similar to my old faithful SR5. I do notice the driver's side lean more in this one, but am planning on a Bilstein 5100 / cornfed spacer upgrade in the near future. First upgrade will be some tint on the side windows since summer can hit any day now here, and some sort of running boards since the wife finds it a little difficult to mount up without any step, and it will make loading the racks much easier. Looking forward to another 10+ years of adventures, and loving the Nauty Blue.

Thanks for the compliments, but it was not me. Haven’t been down that way for awhile. I live in the La Canada area and work in Glendale. As for now I’m satisfied with my Tyger bullbar until I upgrade to a low profile winch bumper with a bullbar.

I had it done at Ceramic Pro Burbank near the end of October.
Bought my 2nd 4runner after owning, 2000 4runner, 2015 Tacoma TRD Sport, and 2015 TRD Pro Tundra....traded car after car.....and now I have a car i'm gonna own forever. Purchased Oct 2018..finally got around to posting it. Small mods for now, TRD pro front, low profile cargo basket up top, LED headlights. Dobinsons suspension in the mail....rims and tires on the way as well. Will update the photo with the lift when it happens in the upcoming weeks.

Nice truck and enjoy the dobinsons suspension. I have been really enjoying mine so far, for what I do and how I drive it has been perfect so far.

Installed switches in preparation for the roof rack lights, and Amber/White LED light bar once all the parts arrive.
Modded the factory fog switch to be able to turn on anytime the tail lights, lowbeams, or highbeams are on.
Added full time power to the back, with usb charging the voltage meter.

I came out of the office on Friday, and found my Runners doppelganger...
It must have been pretty new, and had new KO2s on it...you could still smell the tire release on them. No lift yet, but it was cool to see what MY rig will look like when i buy the TRD Pro's rims in the next year or so...
