I have not. Doing at least sections of it is definitely on my to-do list though based on the pictures I've seen. Just need to convince some friends to get on board for the trip as well which always seems to be difficult these days.

How do you like those XL80's on the roof? Good usable light? Glare? Any wind noise? Any issues getting all of the wires down the windshield?

Thanks! Wish they were XL80's, Lights are great, has a little glare when I remove the covers and run the whites. wind noise tbh feels like it went down. as for wiring check this link I did a whole write up on the install > Tr4 Light Build. All I did was a daisy chain on the roof so I would only need to run POS & NEG to the engine bay.

I finally found some folks to run it with. GF's brother & his wife are big into off-road bikes and have been wanting to do it for a while now. They live in Portland and are going to run sections 1-5, from the OR border up to around Hwy 20. I was hoping to run the whole thing with them, but work commitments are making look like we will miss the first day or so an join in around Ellensburg.

Made a run to Colorado last week from OKC.. Love CO man, wish we lived closer. Here is a pic of the truck on Weston Pass just before we started to come back down and head in to Leadville, CO. We really should have taken a tent and camped on the west side. Next time..

Hi from Austin! anyone know where to get inexpensive cross bars? Ive found factory ones, but was looking for less than that if possible. That plus the roof rack (leaning to rocky mount or yakima for now).

Try searching your local Craigslist for used ones. Hope you can find some!

You can find factory cross bars super cheap. I paid $20 for mine brand new from another member. That was a bit of an extreme example but $40-$50 is about the going rate for the most part.

Got hit early Sunday AM on the freeway when a car changed lanes into my Blitz sliders at 80MPH! They saved my doors and his too - he only hit his tires and rims! Still, $1,400 to repaint and fix the scratches, but it could have been much, much worse.
