Christ almighty bro...it's a Top Gun movie reference. I know what it is...I've served over 20 yrs in the Air Force. Its the trainer version of the F-5 Tiger...aka MiG 28.

I was the guy stuck mopping the floor.. ha! Fortunately for me I didn't have 50 uniforms to maintain like those d*mn sailors. Air Force keeps it simple...someday maybe the Navy will catch on. Ha!

7 month old 4runner got wrecked about 3.5 weeks ago (2018). Some lady decided to turn across 3 lanes of traffic, and I ended up t-boning her. 
They ended up totaling it.
Picked up a 19 last week. Moved over the TRD wheels. Lost the nfab side steps but will replace these stock running boards soon as they are awful.

Insurance totaled it for that? Doesn't look very bad at all to me.

All Soviet MiGs are odd numbered. The 28 is our version for an aggressor. Just sayin'. That said 28's (F-5's) were operated by by Soviet Bloc air forces.

That's what I thought until they pulled it apart. But it bent the frame (at a crumple zone). Toyota will not allow their frames to be heated and so lead time for a new frame was 6-8 weeks, so I was looking at 3+ months of no car. On top I have a 5 month old, and I don't want to deal with a re-built car with a kid, so they were fine with totaling it, as was I since the dingbat that caused the wreck was at fault. The "admin" stuff and waste of my time is the most frustrating part of it all.

Bro F5s are US planes primarily used for export to allied nations. They never took for the USAF other than a trainer. The plane eventually evolved in the F18 for the USN. MiG 28 was holleywood-isms. Cheaper to use U.S. aircraft than try to find Russian.

What did this bring your overall lift height up to? are you still on the 275's?

2” front 1” rear, stayed 275 to avoid possible cmc

Thanks! Looks good! I just threw on 275's and trying to decide how tall I really want to go. I like the way this looks though and might do the same.
