Had my 19 ORP for 8 months before someone hit my family, dog and I head on during a road trip. All is as good as it can be given the situation.
So I upgraded to a 2020 ORP. I was particular about wanting the exact trim and extras I had before. Now it’s back to the drawing board to dump money into the new one. Man I miss my old one though!!

...These trucks are built like Tanks!...they safely protect the occupants while sacrificing themselves! The design is sound...and well-built to take the punishment and NOT pass it on to those inside! I feel very safe in my 4runner..

Nice ride!

I wanted the TRD, but my wife really wanted to have the third row option, so there you have it... I suspect we will never actually use the third row, but at least I got her to agree to boondocking in the T4R, so that's a pretty big win!

Yeah, the cab seems to have protected the occupants rather well. Scary situation, glad all are OK.

i am with you i got T-boned in my 3rd Gen and the truck was totaled and i walked away without a scratch all i buy now is 4Runners

Wow! Those tires are shiny! What specific tires do you use? I'm planning on purchasing a set from 4WheelOnline and I'm currently gathering feedback from the other members here.

Yeah, the shiny was dealer prep when I picked it up, they will probably never be that shiny again...

The tires are just the stock 265/70R/17 Dunlop AT20 Grandtrek for now, they aren't upgraded, yet. Not sure what I will get.

A total loss adjuster did an appraisal and gave me what he valued it at. Fortunately it was enough to pay the loan off but I wasn’t compensated for the upgrades. I had asked if I could take a few things that could be salvaged but they said if I did they would want the OEM parts put back in place. So I wouldn’t lose value for not having tail lights or something else, I guess?

Been a 4Runner owner since around 1998. Had a gen2 for about 9 years and a gen3 for around 13. Just bought a brand new 2020 Venture to keep the ball rolling.

I wanted to get something with a little flavor to it but was not impressed with Toyota's color options. I ended up getting the metallic black because it was all that was available. I had a local vinyl wrap shop add a stripe to satisfy my need for some color.

I removed the roof rack for the moment and pulled the running boards. Now I'm trying to figure out how to mount raptor lights in the grille, which apparently has openings that are slightly larger than older models (darn TSS!). Also want to figure out the best lift options that work with the KDSS (really didn't realize that would limit how high I could go).

Sick man. Bet you have the only one for thousands of miles no? Couldn't you get a 79 series out there?

im slightly confused with how this forum work and didnt see the reply. (and not 100% sure its to me..) anyway, lots of 79 cruisers here. and they are the real deal!!! but i also need to use my vehicle to drive in Dakar, and the 79 series are simply just not comofrtable enough on the road..
