Updated the 2018 with some new wheels/tires. Rocktrix RT110 17x9 -12et with Cooper Discoverer A/T 265/70R17 Surprisingly quiet and give the 4Runner a whole new look.

That is a nice looking wheel/setup. I am assuming no issues with fit etc. right? i.e. just fine with stock tire size with no spacers, mods etc.?

Anybody else have any experience with this brand? Kind of seems like a no-brainer for the money. Especially if you're not planning to much off-roading other than tame stuff...

Thanks! No rubbing, no spacers, just had to replace the lug nuts with a conical style set. The fitment is just right for me. All of my off-roading is on the beach, so no need for anything more aggressive.

I know this has probably been answered a million times but I would like to see a definitive yay or nay from the experts, especially as it relates to the T4R. I am under the impression there are no issues running the stock tire size (albeit Toyo ATIII) on a 9 inch wheel correct?

And can you tell me what a 17x9 wheel with -12 does if anything to stance and or making the tire 'stick out' past fender well more?

I see no problems running 265/70 size tire on a 9 inch wide wheel. Now I'm sure there can be an argument made to suggest otherwise, but as for everyday use and occasional off-road use (even aired down) I haven't seen a problem.

As for "stance" the offset pushes the wheel out considerably further than stock, but not to the point where it is past the fender. I would suggest it is more "flush" with the fender.
