My 5th gen next to my old 4th gen on a road trip up north that I dropped off yesterday evening/this morning. Good memories and adventures in the 4th gen but new memories and adventures in the 5th gen are waiting. Plus the 4th is still in the family which is a plus.

Appreciate it! She’s sitting on 295/70-17 geolandars with a 3/2 lift using king shocks and element hard parts UCA and rear springs.

Wife got her 2022 Trail Edition this week. We took it for a ride into the mountains, handled very well. Lots of compliments on the Lunar Rock color. Fun getting to know a new vehicle, both our Pilot and Rubicon are older with less gadgets.

Nice I was out there with a group of friends Labor Day weekend. We did berdoo to the turn off to Joshua tree and back out. No one radio in and told me about that dip on the trail and let’s say I caught a little air.

At the south/east end of Joshua Tree, you can still see the damage done by Gen, Patton's tanks! I think it's just outside the park on the left. Made in preparation of invading North Africa.

We started off Dillon Rd. near Palm Desert. Berdoo Canyon Road takes you into Joshua Tree.

We're heading out next weekend from Washington to SoCal (east side of Cascades and Sierras), then to Flagstaff. Won't be going that way. Taking 40 along Route 66 from Apple Valley.

Hint to those in SoCal: Go east on HWY8 to Algodones Dunes. There are parts of the old "wooden highway" on display. Would make a great pic, I think.

Also, in spring, the Anza-Borrego Natural History Association does a jeep ride (for wildflowers, I think) through Fish Creek Canyon. Impressive! :lookout:

Update: Just returned from a drive through the Mojave and eastern Sierras and Cascades. Nice wildflowers. Ocotillo blooming by the Ford test area near Yucca Flats.
