Yeah I'm in SoCal, mostly inner city LA and Santa Monica. I go down to OC from time to time but never Anaheim Hills, more like Costa Mesa/Newport.

I was driving home last Sunday from wheeling on Main Divide Road when I saw a BP with black rims and thought it might be you since you posted those pics. Guess it's someone else, and because it has mods I assume they're on this forum. Anyway, my wife and I frequent LA/SM often, maybe we'll run into each other one day.

So the main divide is open? On the BLM website, it saids it is still closed?

The Cleveland National Forest site says it's closed too. I took a chance and went up via Maple Springs Road (which the site also said was closed) but to my surprise both trails were open.

Nothing special, but so that people who are on the search have reference: 265/70-17 Bridgestone Dueler Revo 2's and Bilstein 5100's on the front only, raised 1.75 inches.

Looks great with the front raised up. Any noticeable changes with the 5100s in front? Did the ride change? Any less nose dive? I'm thinking of doing the same. Thanks!

Joshua Tree

Just took a day trip up to Joshua Tree for the first time, and will definitely be back to camp out and stay longer.

And here are some baby birds that must have just hatched that day (Since I'm not on a bird watching forum, I figured I could still post these up here too).

Nice pic of the 4R against the rocks! Also love the bird nest pic- life in all its forms is amazing!

Maybe a little less nose dive, but it still sways/rocks a bit when braking. I am still trying to get used to how this truck drives more like a Cadillac than I am used to. I preferred the stiffness of my FJ in both suspension and steering, but I had more money into suspension on that one. I am going to put 5100s on the rear as well when I have a chance, hopefully that helps a bit.

It does looks better level though!

After more than a month of messing around, I finally took delivery of my new 2010 Salsa Red Trail Edition yesterday! Of course, it went straight to the tire shop for new shoes. I'm already loving it and looking forward to some Arizona off-road adventures. I'll post off-road or scenic photos as I get the chance.

Thank you. It's set at 1.75" of lift. I misspoke earlier when I said it was 1.5", I'll go fix my previous post.

Got a chance to do a nice detail/wax on the 4Runner the other day, but forgot to take pictures.... so here are some of the 4Runner up at our farm, a little bit dirtier than after the wash but still pretty clean and damn good looking!
