Hey Cat 85. I want to get wider tires too as the stock 245 on Limited is pretty thin especially if viewed from back. But I don't really want to lift. Was the rubbing pretty bad or is it doable? Also, your finished pictures are 2.5" lift in back and 2" lift in front? Thanks!

My lift is 2.5 rear and 3 in in front.
I am going to adjust the lift once things settle.
I'm shoot ing for 2in and 2 in.
I had rubbing with any full turn of the wheel prelift.
I'm not sure if it would have been fixed by just trimming plastic.
I believe tux318 has these tires with a shorter spacer lift that looks awesome - check that out:

These tires look great great, they definately eliminate the "suburbia" look of the 20in rims that I didn't like. I highly recommend the switch.
I'll add 2 pics of my truck next to a new one at the dealer- mine before the lift. What do you think?

Hey maui73, you can go with 275/55/20 lot of other guys here went with this set up. Do a search for 275/55/20. You can also go here to compare tire size http://www.rimsntires.com/specs.jsp

Nice car bro . . . I am in Sugar Land and see a lot of cars with your mod - setup; especially around the Houston/New Orleans area. Very nice. May consider getting curb feelers to keep from scratching those expensive rims. Take it rock climbing yet? Mine is still classified as a mall cruiser until I decide to tear it up like others on here. Taking it camping/boating next week!

Much improved Tx! I'd only recommend getting spidertrax wheel spacers or rims with a different backspacing/offset to give it a better stance and then you will be all set. Really like the black on black look. Makes me want to gray out all the remaining chrome on mine.
