Hi guys and gals.
New to the forum. My previous offroad vehicle was an FJ Cruiser. Had many good times with it and my sons offroading.

I decided to get something alittle bit bigger for the family due to issues with the FJ and all the sports we do (football, Lacrosse, snowboarding, etc) and my teens are getting long legs so a 4Runner was a naturally transition.

Rather than sell the FJ outright, I got lazy and traded it in on a 2010 4Runner Limited. (Previous owner was Keven Calabro, who gets a free vehicle to drive every year as a promotional thing)

It has 19k miles on it, and they threw in a bumper to bumper warranty for 7 years/100k miles (actually, I get the warranty through 119k miles due to the existing mileage). It is in pristine condition.

I'm not wild about the color nor the 20" wheels,(do I get points deducted from my Man Card for Pearl white?) but it was too good of deal to pass up ($34k for the 4Runner and I negotiated $16k trade in on the 2007 FJ with 87k miles on it)

My plans, when the warranty expires, is a toytech lift and larger tires, BFG's. I miss my FJ but the comfort of this rig is unmatched!

I just fnished detailing it (Wash, clay bar, Griots Machine Polish, Klasse AIO and then Klasse Glaze, Griot's interior cleaner and leather cleaner) and here are some pics.

New Tires

I think I got rid of the soccer mom look with these. If I see a woman with them than she probably already has a woman. Hahahahaha!

Just replaced my front shocks with 5100's haven't figured what I'm going to do in the rear yet but I like it so far!

My new TE. I done some modest trails up around Big Bear last weekend and took some snaps. It's stock but still photo worthy imho. The only thing I've changed is the Ugly Dealer plates - I replaced them with some very clean powder coated black frames but that was after this photo was taken.

After two weeks I still love it as much as the first day. I definitely got the right vehicle and couldn't be happier with it.

Finally got tires & wheels...

Waited 6 months on the American Racing Mojave's, but am proud to finally post these shots. Just got tires & wheels mounted this week - stoked on the outcome. Got one full inch of front lift (both sides equal) from the ToyTec top plate spacers. Tires rub in reverse, but will use heat gun and Dremel to fix that this weekend. Thanks to Harper7, Snooperstyle and MJLGUTH for all their advice. I promise never to post another shot with the vehicle on pavement... :cheers:

Konig Counter steer X's w/ GY Duratracs

A few shots of the new rims and tires before the Toytec lift is installed.

Bought the rims from JdMeF9SiR2. 265/70/17 Duratracs with painted center hubs in the rear.

Had to paint the wheel weights black due to GY not using inside weights per my request.

So you think your tires where expensive? The rears on my black Z- GY G3-F2 run flats ran $545 a piece!!!!

DuraTracs are looking good on there. I think I would have waited till after the lift to get new tires though. Those might look small after the lift.

When you put over 600 hp to the rear wheels, not to many tires last and keep the rear planted.

Went back and forth on the tire size many times. May just level with the front coilovers, replace the rear shocks with the Bilsteins and get a stiffer spring to keep the rear stock height so they won't drop when I tow the boat.

Oh gotcha. You must have done a lot of work to your Z.

I think a 5th Gen supercharger will add about 100 hp max.

New Rims

20x9 BMF Novakane. Zero offset. This set up fills the wheel wells perfect!! Also had the chrome running strips on the sides, front and back done in matte black.

Vegas 4Runner: You beat me to the novakanes! I have been looking at those wheels for a long time. If you do not mine me asking, how large is the tire your running? No lift correct? Thanks.

I am running Toyo Proxes ST 2. 275/55 r20. I ordered the BMF frnot leveling kit but it is on back order so right now it's just stock height. No rubbing what so ever. The tires come exactly flush with the top center of the fender flare. I didn't want anything to stick out at all.

This set up is much lighter then the stock rims/tires. Prop about 25lbs lighter per wheel/tire. I swear the truck doesn't feel as sluggish now. I know that prob just me being crazy though!

This was the same set up I was gonna go with. I was advised not to due to the offset being at 0 brings your tire really close to your uca. If your planing to stay on streets then you should be good to go. BTW looks good.
