This looks interesting. Here are the standard questions. Did they fit without spacers? Any rubbing? What size tires? Where did you find them?

Yes, there are no spacers needed. There is no rubbing. Tire size is 265/65/18.

Found them on ebay...

Just installed the OW 2.5 kit and the LR UCAs on my 2010 TE (w/ KDSS) - still settling in and getting used to it but so far I couldn't be happier.

So far planning on sticking with the stock size Duratracs I have - think it still looks pretty good.

Can't recommend the kit and the service from Andries at OW highly enough and the guys at SLEE Offroad who did the install are awesome.

Nice looking rig! Are those bike racks the Rocky Mounts Tierod and the older Noose SL? If so, how do you like them and how are they with wind noise. I'm about to get one and hear they are pretty quiet.

Thanks! Yep, they are the Tierods and the Noose SL. The Tierods are awesome - very stable, will support any bike (that has a removable front wheel) and quiet. They are a big step up from the Noose and I like the cam mechanism on the RMs better than both Yakima and Thule. Plus with the color offerings it's nice that you aren't stuck with boring black or grey for your rack.

Yep, They are BFG AT KO's in size 275/70/17
They are M&S rated tires too.
One size bigger then the stock 265/70/17's
Discount Tire gave me $75 a piece trade-in for the original Bridgestone Dueler H/T's with 150 miles on them so they were $220-75=$145 a piece plus mounting/balancing. It came out to a little over $700 with lifetime balance/rotate.

Wow, that's the first time I've heard of a tire Dealer taking trade in for tires. Do they always do That? I tried that once with Towne Fair Tire and they said no. I just don't do business with them anyways.

My Salsa Red Trail Edition arrived last Thursday so I guess its time to post some pics. SW sliders are on order (FYI, they quoted 8 weeks. I'll let you know when they arrive.) I'll add some all terrain tires with a mild lift.

UGH SO LUCKY!!! I just saw another blacked out trail the other day on 40/270, it had Kansas plates. Thats one sharp TE!

The TE looks great is Salsa Red. Some Duratracs would make your rig look even better. Congrats!

So you took the new 17 inch TRD wheels ,took off the rock ring and painted them black and put back in just the bolts/screws?
Way to mod outside the box! Good job!
A few FJ guys have done the same thing with the 16 inch TRD wheels.

Hey TrailTex you pick that up from Tejas Toyota in Humble?

No, I had it shipped in by truck from Boulder, CO. Did they have one up in Humble??? I scoured the internet long and hard before buying out of state sight unseen, but to no avail. It was well worth the wait though. Ended up having KDSS, remote start (which turns out is useless), and a rear view camera built into the rear view mirror. Needless to say I was super excited.

More rubber on the ground... 275/55R/20 I think it looks better, and handling doesn't seem to be a problem since me and the wife took a little 130 mile round trip to dinner last night. I've already put about 200 miles on them, and the paper is still stuck to the threads :wtf:
