Good day everyone I was wondering if any of you all 2017 TRD pro 4runner owners have any problems cleaning you all's TRD black wheels?have you all thought about putting a clear coat(satin or matte)finish on your wheels just to be able to clean them a lot easier. I've seen Florida TRD video on cleaning the wheels and it seems like a spot on job,I'm just thinking there's gotta be a way easier way to clean them they're a real pain in the A@# to clean and they seem to smudge very quick.I looked into powder coating them but around here they want $200. A rim and that seems a little too much for a new rim that hasn't been ran too much.Any info on what you all have done to them will be appreciated, thanks in advance

Never heard of anyone complaining about cleaning the TRD rims, nor have I ever heard of anyone clear / powder coating them here or elsewhere to make cleaning any easier.

Both drive-thru and hand washing has gotten mine plenty clean... and dirt / mud from the trail is just a badge of honor until it's washed off anyway, right?

My other vehicle is an Audi sedan, and I know quite a few guys on the forums who wax their wheels to keep the brake dust and grime from adhering. Haven't tried it myself though.

Wouldn't bother with a truck to be honest.
