5VZ-FE Throttle Body Connections

Hi guys,
Hoping you can help me with a quick question. Just replaced the valve cover gaskets on my 98 4runner, and I'm trying to put it all back together. I was stupid and neglected to label all the hoses with which are which. Now I've got the throttle body bolted back on. There are three hoses I need to connect into the bottom section, 2 water hoses and one air. Of the three hoses, one connects to the top of the engine, and two run off back behind it. Anyone have suggests on how I should know which hose is which?

I can also post some pictures if need be, dont have good ones of where the hoses are coming out of though.

The two coolant hoses should have some kind of residue or wet film to give you a clue. They should also line up with the inlet/outlet passages of the throttle body pretty nicely and have the clamp marks on them. The vacuum hose will look distinctively different and be clean inside.

Hey man that's awesome thanks. Will the vacuum hose have a clamp as well or just the coolant hoses? That would make it easy because two have them and one doesnt.

You got it. The two IAC valve coolant hoses have clamps and the vacuum line doesn't.

Mine don't have the original clamps anymore so it's not a good reference point, but off the top of my head I believe neither the PCV or the IAC vacuum lines have clamps, most don't. I think you've figured it out though since the coolant lines will be identical to each other. A coolant line MUST have a clamp on it, vacuum lines not usually.
