So I've been thinking about getting 6112's up front on my 3rd gen. My question is that I guess they come with a coil, but it is 600 lbs of spring rate? Since I don't really have anything extra right now will this be way too rough? Or...perhaps the shock will just stay fully extended if my truck isn't heavy enough?
I have no idea if these are dumb questions or not... But when I'm spending 500+ bucks on something that isn't generally a returnable item... I need to be very confident...haha!
If I don't get th 6112's, my original plan was tundra 5100s with 880 springs. My goal is to get as little lift as possible to maintain down travel.
I already have 906's and tundra 5100s ready to install on the rear.
Would they go fine with 6112's?
