I saw a sonic on the road today and wondered why i never heard of it before.

The Pro4X is optioned pretty well for the money, but I'm guessing that loaded model is not the bread and butter of sales. It's likely the lower models that are bought in bulk and quickly discarded. They can be had pretty cheap... and I imagine you get what you pay for, thus the turn over.

But... at the Pro4X pricepoint, Nissan is in direct competition with the Tacoma. And of the two, I'd go with a base 4x4 V6 Tacoma over a Pro4X Frontier.
