I figure i might just get a good cut and polish done on it first and see how it looks. I like stock where possible and nothing wrong with a bit of patina . I will throw on the stripes then out of curiosity. It's a keeper so I might go for the Terracotta look when the it's destined to live out its days as a garage queen.
Besides I have a new ome suspension waiting to go that 2 tone truck in my sig which I should get to soon

This truck is killing me. Transferring the LIcence from western Australia to new South Wales and the fact that it was sitting idle for so so so long meant that the bills are stacking up. Here is a list which I got done this month. Going to go for a full resto at this stage as I might aswell see it thru to the end. Will go for a full closed door respray in white. Then finally I can put on the decals.
service replaced oil & oil fill top up levels and greased all prop shafts and joints
Fuel /filter and bleed diesel system
removing & fitting winder mechanisem on r/h/side drivers door
removing replacing timing belt kit & front crank seal
removing replacing rear b/shoes and wheel cylinders
1 brake master pump fitted (new)
1 brake rear hose new
brake oil flush (brake oil dot 3)
Repairs to rear r/h/s door r&r door skin & repair lock
replacing rear leaf spring bushes and anchor pin bushes r&r with parts
2 tyres (s/h) and disposing of old tyres and w/blce
removing front hubs and lock hubs & adjusting wheel bearings
1 blue slip with handling charges

Bought a canopy off eBay. Still trying to source stock dash.
