'88 4runner Factory Service Manual

I just acquired a '88 4runner Sr5 everything is clean and new except one problem the engine is trash. I'm going to start the rebuild process to get her back and running. I was curious to know if anyone knew where I could find the Toyota 1988 service manual for the 4runner besides eBay. Thanks :help:

The '88 FSM on my Wiring Harness Shorting Issue thread is about 1400 pages long. That would be a mother to print.

You said the motor is trash.. What exactly do you mean by that?

Yeah it definitely will be, but I think it will be cheaper than buying the manual itself? I am not sure what is salvageable on it yet, but first on the list is find another engine to start with the engine block is destroyed one of the rods went through it according to the previous owner.

That sounds, precarious. Pics?? You can either replce with a rebuilt original, or, welcome to motor swap world. Use the search bar in this forum, and be prepared to do your research. If you can think it up, 99.9% chances that someone in here has already done it, and done a detailed writeup about it.

Yeah I figured thanks. I'll post pics when I get started on it all I haven't even taken the engine out yet so step by step haha :crutch:

Standing by! look into a Cummins 4BT 3.9L 4banger diesel swap. That would make waves! OR a jet engine... :roadkill:
